Beyonce Issues Statement Concerning Elevator Incident

By now i'm pretty sure everyone seen the video of Solange pulling some of Bruce Lee's greatest moves on Jay Z. If not, then for sure you''ve seen some of the hilarious memes and voice overs as a result of this incident. Anyway, today B takes a stand and issues a statement via AP.

"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," an exclusive statement to The Associated Press said Thursday. "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family."

Moving right along.

For this edition of #SlumbSamples, we have Jay's "Some how Some way" record featuring Beanie Sigel. This track was released in 2002 on the Blueprint album. It featured a sample from one of the early 70's album, Frontiers, composed by Jermaine Jackson.

Jay Electronica "We Made It Freestyle" Feat. Jay Z {AUDIO}

Yesterday I woke up to my twitter timeline going crazy about this Jay Electronica "We Made It" freestyle. Not much of a fan of his but once I seen people commenting on Hov's verse, the hip hop nerd in me gave in. After giving it a listen, I wouldn't necessarily call the shot Hov took at Ms. Drizzy a diss, just stating facts. #FactsOnly

Dame Dash Salty or Nah?

I guess that picture was just for the instagram likes. In a recent interview with Details Magazine for the February 2014 edition, the Rocafella OG Dame Dash had a few snappy choice words when asked about Hov. Although he was expected to shed light on the entrepreneur, it took a turn in another direction. When asked for his take on the King of New York’s net worth, Harlem's Dash states "“It’s like saying, ‘I used to mess with a girl, and before I used to mess with her, she was mediocre,’ says Dame. ‘But because she started messing with me, I taught her things. I dressed her, and then I taught her how to have a career. Does that mean after we break up I’m still supposed to be able to get some ass?’ Like, I don’t feel entitled to that p*ssy. You understand what I’m saying? I don’t feel entitled to nothing he’s got.”

Dame also chose to speak on the company Jay z chooses to keep around now. “Those people are corny. You think I’m rolling to a club with Lyor Cohen or John Meneilly?” The opinionated business man then added, “No disrespect to Jay—but every single person I see hanging around him is making money off him. They all conform so they can eat off him.’”

New Music: @NikoJavan "Acid Off Your Shoulders" (Remix Of Jay z's Record)

Go on a trip as you listen to this trippy version of Hov's classic record, "Dirt Off Your Shoulders". Hella dope if I do say so myself.
