De La SOul Set to Release 2 Albums & a Mixtape

Ever since releasing their entire catalogue for free this past Valentine's Day, De La Soul has been receiving nothing but positive feedback from the fans. Because of this, they've been motivated to release 2 new albums along with a mixtape. One of the albums will be built upon sampling and the other will include the live instrumentation of LA's Rhythm Roots Allstars. According to HipHopDX, the mixtape will resemble of full length album, including skits and all. 

Kanye West Dodges Jail Time, But Hits Probation

Remember Ramos? The paparazzi guy Ye' laid his hands on last year? Well the case was recently settled in court and although Mr. West isn't being hit with any jail time, he has been placed on probation for 2 years. Along with that, he has to comply with the agreement of 24 anger management sessions and 250 hours of community service. If Kanye completes these orders, once his probation time is over, the battery charge will be erased from his conviction. 

As for Ramos, he stated that he believes Kanye should be thrown in jail and that his assault was done as promotion for his Yeezus album.
