Nas Launches Mass Appeal Records

After 20 years of classic music, Mr. Nasir Jones finally decides to team up with Peter Bittenbender for the launch of Mass Appeal Records. So far the label has signed the 17 year old New York emcee Bishop Nehru, Detroit's very own Boldy James, and 2010 XXL Freshmen Class member Fashawn. The label has already planned on releasing a compilation album with the friends of the brand such as Pusha T, Asap Mob, Mac Miller, and many more. They also will be releasing a posthumous album from Pimp C from producers like DJ Mustard and Mike Will Made It. Last but not least, the label will be releasing the long awaited Lost Tapes 2 from Nas himself.

"I'm excited to be a part of creating and supporting future careers and legacy artists, promoting love and finding new genius to help the world," Nas said in an email. "I'm going to be as involved as I need to be, but I also want to be respectful of the art and give artists the space they need to grow and become themselves."
